Foot Reflexology
3 – weeks – serie
Event Details
Description:
There are various manipulative techniques, all based on the principle that, in order to remain healthy, the various interdependent processes of the body must be kept in a state of balance and constant energy flow. Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive technique that induces a state of relaxation and activates the body’s intrinsic self-healing processes. Our entire body is reflected in the foot according to the concept that the small reflects the large.
When the reflex points are massaged through mechanical stimulation, the body translates them into bioelectrical and biochemical impulses, improving energy flow, eliminating stagnation and promoting cleansing and regeneration processes.
In the practical workshop, we will propose self-massage techniques for the different systems and organs of the body, such as:
- Kidney, ureter and bladder
- Genital system
- Skeletal system
- Muscular system
- Nervous system
- Respiratory system
- Endocrine glands
- Cardiovascular system
- Lymphatic system and lymphatic circulation
- Digestive system
N.B. The foot is composed of 26 bones, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles that support and balance the rest of the body in what has been called one of the most fantastic works of engineering of all time. It is a support and movement organ, but it is also our contact with the ground, and therefore a sensory organ that maintains close communication with the nervous system and the locomotor system. It is our first contact with the earth, our roots, which today are usually made less efficient by rubber or plastic soles that prevent the electrical impulses that our body naturally produces from being discharged to the ground. Walk barefoot whenever you can! Or buy shoes with soles designed for grounding; they are available on the market!
