Clean Water Flows: Varí Vino Well Completed

After two weeks of construction, clean water is now flowing in Varí Vino village.

The Well is Complete

The 60-meter deep well, built by Perfurações Vale Poço, now provides clean drinking water to 20 children and their families. For years, the river was their only water source, but filtering was no longer enough to make it safe.

The community runs the generator-powered pump for one hour each day—sufficient to meet their needs while conserving resources.

First Days

In the first days, the children played and showered under the clean water, celebrating this new access to safe drinking water.

This well means:

• Healthy children who can grow strong
• Time saved from daily water filtering
• Energy freed to focus on traditional knowledge and forest protection

Thanks to crowdfunding donations of €4,500 (28,035 RS), this project became reality. Aliento del Viento paid invoices directly to the construction company, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
